Archaeology is the study of human activity through the analysis of artifacts and other physical remains. 

‘Through the Looking Glass Darkly’ is an immersive installation in which contemporary modes of communication are fossilized and transformed into relics of a seemingly distant past. by placing the audience into 'the future', they are encouraged to reflect on today's society the same way an archaeologist does an excavated fossil. 

Discussions to arise from such findings include, but are not limited to: 
the effects of technological advancements in regards to interpersonal [mis]communication,
the new forms of self[ie] expression
and the effects on an individual's perception of self, in/out the digital realm
