I saw an empty flag pole and I couldn’t resist

.

An abstract flag made up of the plastic bags I collected (by way of consumption) during the span of my residency.

My favorite part, besides the adrenaline of installing in broad daylight, was watching unsuspecting tourists take photographs with it in the background. A fleeting moment becomes fossilized in the family albums of a handful of homes.
